coffee coffee coffee

Well...As I mentioned before I am boycotting the Strabucks in downtown Kelowna and giving Blendz my business...well what a frustration!!! I went today and the person taking my order messed it up...then told me to go to the bar and they would make sure it was right...when I got my drink it was wrong....blah...come on all I ordered was 4 shots of espresso long pour! What I got was 2 shots regular pour...when I said "um sorry this is not what I ordered" she said "thats what is on the screen so that is what I have to make...." I explained that the person on cash messed up and told me to tell the barista what I wanted and it would be taken care of....the barista refused to make my drink!! I had to actually tell her to speak to the guy on cash and figure it out...she refused to do that too! I had to yell across her and ask him to come over...they worked it out and I got my drink and it was still wrong!! but I delt with it....is this f unny....i'm not sure but I miss vancouver coffee shops....

Sincerely,

Trever

Another New Client Testimonial

Hi Buddy,

I wanted to say thanks for finding me the perfect home and for doing so quickly! You weren’t kidding when you said “this is the one for you!” As soon as I walked in I knew that the place fit the bill. You were pretty freaking amazing when it came to negotiations as well…big huge thanks for that too. You said “no no no…don’t settle for that…lets try for one more thousand!” I’m glad we did! Now we have some cash for a nice house warming party!!! You are of course coming!

PS. I know we hit a few hairy moments before completion…thanks for keeping me posted on things…it freaked me out a little but like you said “every deal has its turbulence. I will steer us through this…just stay calm.” You landed the deal like a pro…thanks so much and see you at the party!!

New Client Testimonial

Trever;

If you are looking for a realtor who will be responsive to your needs as a buyer then we don't hesitate to recommend Trever. We purchased a house last summer and had to do so from a distance. Trever was very quick to respond to all of our requests for information and data on the local market. He was available when we needed him and worked well with other Realtors to ensure we were able to gather info and make visits on short notice.  He represented us very well through the purchase negotiations, and we were pleased with the results. Trever worked hard to make us happy clients. Well done!

Not all coffees are created equal

Well as much as it pains me to say it I am sitting in a blends...I walked right by a starbucks to get here too...I have decided that I no longer enjoy the starbucks in downtown Kelowna. Due to lack of atmosphere and a staff that is slipping that starbucks is no longer a destination for me...wow. And I have a starbucks visa so coming to blends means paying for my drink! Better music. Better lighting. Better views. Better seating. Better atmosphere. Better staff (we will see). Free wifi. Could this be a new hangout? Again we will see...funny part is they screwed up my drink...lol...maybe it's just Kelowna!!!!

What A GONG Show!!

Well I finally wrapped up my longest ever in the works deal...what a ride...This brings me to my point...using a Realtor to assist you in the sale of your home is more then just good sense it can make the difference between a deal coming together and no deal at all. When you think of selling you think that all you do is put your home on the market and then someone will buy it...think again...this deal had 7...count'em 7 accepted offers fall apart for different reasons before I finally brought some buyers to the table myself who could get it together...imagine thinking your home was sold 7 times only to realize that it was back to the drawing board...I feel so bad for my sellers…now imagine the work involved for me...you have no idea....this last one (although it came together in the end) was no picnic either...it took weeks and multiple extensions to get it together....usually my job is over after the subjects are off but in this instance the banks and lawyers were not communicating effectively enough to get the job done and I had to step in and save the day for both my buyers and sellers...that’s right people its more then a pay cheque....peoples lives are on hold and in turmoil until things get sorted out...that is something that bankers and lawyers and sometimes even Realtors forget...if I had not intervened on this I have no doubt that it would have fallen apart costing my sellers time, money, and stress while possibly loosing my buyers deposit in the process...

As a Realtor I am often in the middle and it is up to me to sort out all the details and to do so quickly all while people are over stressed and over emotional and sometimes not as helpful as they should be...I'm not looking for sympathy here (in fact I enjoy the stress) what I am looking for is understanding that Realtors serve a purpose and that although it may seem we get paid a lot (and sometimes we do) there is a ton of stuff that goes on behind the scenes that we take care of so buyers and sellers can rest easy and not worry...not to mention helping everyone not get sued! That’s right...we as agents step into the middle and open ourselves up to litigation on every deal...we do this to protect you as at the end of the day few of you know how to write a contract that will cover your buns in the event that things go wrong...Its funny to think that it has taken over a year to get paid for this deal!....maybe funny is not the right word...lol....but at the end of it all I am very pleased to have helped my sellers realize their freedom to travel and my buyers to own their first home...ahhhh...job well done...thanks for listening!

Sincerely,

Trever
